Mario is my life and business partner and President of Mario’s Reconditioned Appliances. He and I consult on matters that pertain to each of our businesses since we are officers of each other’s companies. We have the perfect marriage in business as our companies complement each other’s so well. We’re able to refer each other to the other’s clients and as a result everyone wins. Mario provides appliance repair service as well as advanced contractual help for Peace of Mind clients from items as small as servicing a space heater to building porches. He is a licensed and insured contractor in RI, with a lead renovator remodeler license and a skill set that is unmatched for the price he works for us for. Besides his six month guarantee on the work he does, when you’re around Mario, you’re guaranteed to laugh! He keeps our office light-hearted and is responsible for most of the FUN in our motto.

Stacy Corrigan

Stacy Corrigan is Peace of Mind’s Principal Broker and the President, Secretary, Treasurer, Lead Dog Walker, and basically, she wears almost any other hat you can think of. Stacy has been in the Real Estate Industry since 1995 when she managed her former boss’s 63 units in Roxbury. That’s where she caught the bug for Real Estate Investing.

Needing to become a Broker to begin her Property Management business she started in 2008, Stacy attended Real Estate School and passed her exam on the first attempt. Apparently, a rare feat. Stacy and Mario were already Real Estate Investors in Woonsocket, owning 26 units, and after helping her sister and brother in law purchase two investment properties in town, Stacy found a new love in building the Real Estate Sales side of the business.

Stacy has an extremely strong sales background, building a Mary Kay business to the point of being a Senior Sales Director, having produced several offspring Directors, purchasing her first investment property with her commissions, earning two free cars and several Diamond rings as rewards for her sales efforts. Her most treasured reward though was positively impacting the lives of the women she mentored.

Stacy brings Mary Kay’s strong values to her Real Estate Brokerage. She puts family, fun, and flexibility first and values People before Profits. Stacy also practices the Golden Rule, of treating others as she would like to be treated, Mary Kay’s most treasured belief.

Stacy has built a phenomenal brokerage one step at a time, building strong systems and processes, and not building too quickly so she can provide outstanding service to every client. Stacy has built a brokerage with her family. Mario is her life partner and Jimmy is her brother in law, and she has managed and sold properties for many, many family members. Jimmy Cloutier is Peace of Mind’s Lead Buyer’s Agent and is also a Real Estate Investor, so he knows the intricacies of what owning investment property means to our investor clients. Jimmy has sold nearly two million dollars across 11 transactions in the past year and earned a Diamond Sales Award for his efforts. He was awarded coveted title of Most Improved Sales Agent in our office for 2018.

Jimmy is extremely patient when working with Buyers to help them find the Right Home for them and their families. Jimmy has three kids and knows the importance of having the right size home for everyone to relax, enjoy and have fun! As a former contractor of 20+ years, Jimmy brings extra knowledge and insight to the transaction to help guide our clients when assessing the advantages and challenges regarding a home’s condition.

Even though Jimmy primarily works with Buyers, he’s successfully closed transactions with Sellers too and wishes to build both sides of his business equally. As a Libra, he’s comfortable handling both sides of the transaction, as the balancing of the scales from his sign indicate. If Sarah is Stacy’s right hand, then Robbie Skwirz is Stacy’s Left Hand and Mario’s Right Hand Gal. Robbie serves as Executive Assistant to both Mario’s Appliances and Peace of Mind. She does much more than Assist though, she RUNS THE SHOW at Mario’s and is indispensable to EVERYONE at Peace of Mind.

Robbie came to us via California after 15 years as a Senior Administrator in the Nuclear Energy Industry. We are so fortunate that work and love brought her to New England so we can benefit from her strong work ethic, her kind support, and her sassy humor that we love so much!

She’s Riley Roo’s girlfriend, so don’t get between him and her or he’ll bite your head off. LOL! Riley trots downstairs to visit her at Mario’s every morning to say hello, get his ears scratched, and dig through her trash.

Our Peace of Mind office family is complete since we found Robbie! We wouldn’t be able to expand without her and all the other amazing members of our team. As we grow our Peace of Mind client family, we’ll be on the hunt for more incredible team members like these remarkable people we have now, but until then we’re extremely grateful for the high level of talent we have been incredibly blessed to attract.

Engie comes to us all the way from Indonesia. She met her husband in her home country and moved to the United States over a decade ago and we are so glad she did! She most recently was the assistant treasurer at Child’s Play Nursery and Preschool in Providence, and from being an assistant Finance Manager in Jakarta to an Accountant for Owens Corning in Worcester, MA she’s covered the gamut of accounting positions. We are so blessed to benefit from her knowledge and desire for part time work so she can be home for her son when he gets home from school. Engie has an outstanding work ethic and an excellent sense of humor which fits right in with our Kooky bunch.

We couldn’t ask for a better worker to help us manage all the daily headaches that come up in this business. Lady Sarah Sullivan is Stacy’s right hand to the Queen! As our Real Estate Office Administrator, Property Manager, and Buyer’s Agent in Training, Sarah wears almost as many hats as Stacy.

Sarah has nearly 20 Years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal on “the back side” of the transaction she says. She loves being on the front end so much better! We are blessed to have her amazingly strong organizational skills serving to keep our transactions, tenants, and maintenance men in order.

Handling a high volume of multiple and varied responsibilities is Sarah’s super power. She rotates through the days switching between her Real Estate hat and Management hats and she wears them ALL so well.
